Transfer from/to the airport and from/to the conference

For transfers from/to the airport, taxis are readily available. A ride from the airport to downtown should be around 100Dhs (27USD). Taxis do not accept credit cards, so please use exchange services to convert foreign currencies to Dhs or use the ATMs at the airport. An alternative to regular taxis would be Careem https://www.careem.com/en-ae/ (Uber-like service in MENA). Furthermore, all major car rental companies are available at the airport as another alternative. NYU Abu Dhabi offers free parking to visitors.

With regards to daily transfer from/to the conference, all the above modes of transportation apply. In the case of the two hotels listed below (Hala Arjaan and Southern Sun), the buses will depart per the following schedule:

Hotel Registration

There are many hotel options available to ICCD participants, and taxis are very reasonably priced for transfer from/to the conference. For further cost reduction, ICCD will offer bus transportation from two low budget hotels: Hala Arjaan and Southern Sun.
